New beds
I feel very behind in my preparations for Baby #3 and its mostly because I don't have a place for her right now. The plan is to move Kate and Sawyer in together to free up the baby's room and the baby's furniture. Ryan has been hard at work making Kate a bed and I had fun making Sawyer a quilt. Finally the day came when we made the move and everything was put together! Unfortunately that night I had to be at the church but Ryan took some pictures for me. He said he put the sheets on the beds while the kids were in the bathtub and after they got out and Kate walked into her room, she fell over with happiness. From the moment Sawyer saw it he had a big grin on his face. He was so excited to sleep in "Kate's bed" and Ryan kept reminding him that it was his bed now. Even though I missed out on the first bedtime I was able to see them in the morning when they woke up and came into my room together. When I asked Sawyer where he slept he said with a big grin, "Kate's old bed!" The first night, as I walked up the stairs, I saw Sawyer's crib bed empty and it made me really emotional. He's been my baby boy in that bed for 3 years and I was sad to see it empty! But I guess I had better get to work on organizing and getting that room ready because the crib won't be empty for long!

(Ryan is still waiting for some pieces to come in the mail so that the mattress will have supports and not lay on the ground...just in case you were wondering why he made such a funny looking bed!)
