Jay's 2004 Announcement - watch more funny videos

If you don't know this about me, I watch a lot of TV. Since the summer Ryan and I have been DVRing Conan (and Jimmy Fallon who we also really like) and watching them when we have time. I have liked Conan for a long time and I think this whole thing is crazy. I watched this clip from Leno in 2004 and it was so interesting to me to hear what he said then and then see what he is doing now. I just hate when people go back on their word.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!

I don't know whats wrong with ABC. The TV network...not Kate's favorite song. I was fiddling on the computer (instead of sewing, like I should be) and I saw that they canceled my favorite show Pushing Daisies. Seriously, this show was 100 times better than the Office to me! (Especially now that Jim and Pam are together. ugh.) And this isn't the first time I've had a beef with ABC.
Did anybody watch Knights of Prosperity? It was so killer funny.
How about Notes from the Underbelly? All the funny things about pregnancy in that show....and being pregnant, I nearly peed myself with laughter when I watched.
Boston Legal was funny, although often a little risque.

At least TV is getting rid of shows like Dirty Sexy Money (ABC) and Swingtown (CBS). Those commercials alone were disgusting to watch.

Is it sad how much I love TV and that this is going to put me in a bad mood all day?

Goodbye Conan

I know I'm a little late, but I just watched the last episode of Conan that I had DVRed. I haven't always regularly watched Conan, but I have always thought he was hilarious when I did. He is my favorite and I might have had a semi crush on him at one part of my life.
When it comes to my New York love and dreams of being there, a lot of what I love and imagine comes from tv and movies. Conan is part of that New York love. There was a lot I wasn't able to do on my short New York trip last December, and one of those things was seeing Conan...although I was hoping to have him walk past me on the street Michael Scott style. Only hopefully I would recognize him.
I knew that Jay Leno was leaving the Tonight show and I knew that Conan was taking over, but I had no idea that meant he was leaving New York until just a few weeks ago.
I am sad.

You MUST watch this show!

my favorite tv show (yes, it has topped the office for me) comes back tonight (abc) for its second season and really....everyone needs to be watching this show! its cute and funny (hilarious actually) and just plain GOOD. call me if you feel like you need some background before you jump in or if you're lost and I'll catch you up. (I think they always do a good job giving you an idea of whats going on in the beginning of eatch episode)

and can I just say that I wish I could magically turn my closet into chuck's. I want to be that cute!

Kate's favorite commercial

have you guys seen the funny 24 hour fitness/olympics commercials? I think they are so funny and I was looking on youtube for one to post on my blog and had no luck. I did happen to find kate's all time favorite. we watch the game show network a lot and they play a lot of the same weird commercials. anytime this one comes on she stops playing and watches and says "she's dancing!" and when its over she asked if she can see it again!

oh my goodness! we just got done watching the LOST season finale! how many times can I cry in 2 hours? seriously!
