I finally got to see Sherlock Holmes on Saturday and I liked it. I had a small girlhood crush on Robert Downey Jr from watching Heart and Souls over and over again. Anyway, the whole time I was watching this, I was remembering this sketch from Jimmy Fallon. It made me laugh!

I found this on my friend's blog and I think its so funny! Kate and I have been playing it over and over. Its a little advanced for her to learn, but she did say "Is that the Monson?" when the prophet's picture came up first.

yesterday (the day after the 4th of July) I was getting sawyer dressed in his room and I saw this hat I bought him sitting on his dresser....unused!!! I had forgotten it!! so I put it on him on the 5th of July to take some pictures. here is his uncle sam/dr evil look:

when I put it on him kate thought it was so funny and kept laughing at him (with him?) during the whole photo shoot. then she got a turn:

I broke out the tie I bought him a while back for the first time and LOVED it! I had someone come up to me at church and say "my husband told me I HAD to come see the little boy with the tie on!" oh, he is handsome!

today after church ryan was enjoying his sabbath break from studying (or just got a sugar craving) and told kate that after her nap we would make cookies! she loved it and dumped everything in the mixer for me! I even let her crack an egg. here she is enjoying her handywork:

and last but not least, tonight I was going over my grocery list with ryan and he told me he wanted some diet pop and was naming the kinds he liked. when he said "coke" kate came up to me and said "I want coat!" I laughed and said "daddy said coke, not coat, silly!!" and then went about finishing cleaning the kitchen. the next thing I know kate is calling for me from inside the coat closet trying to reach her coat! so I let her wear it.
I'll do anything for this smile!
