Sunday, February 5

I was recently feeling sad about the fact that I don't have money for awesome professional portraits or even access to them in my small town. (I don't even have a picture people or other portrait place!) I do have a camera, though, and I like taking pictures so I decided to go to Home Depot and buy some background props. My kids have a lot of photo shoots in their future!

I was so excited to finally meet these beautiful little boys and they didn't disappoint! They were as cute and as handsome as can be! They are my first set of twins and I must say, I need to work on my baby whispering skills times two! I could get one content at a time but never together...until they were swaddled in their parents arms right where they should be!
Thanks for letting me spend some time with you guys today and letting me meet your little men!

Handsome little N

This little guy is just about the happiest most content baby you'll ever meet. (Just sit behind him in church and you'll find out for yourself!) And he is at that FUN, moving, curious stage that just makes boys fun! Sawyer stood next to him and it made me wonder where my little one year old had gone!

The B Family

I don't know who had more fun doing this little photo shoot, me or my kids. They got to play at Discovery Green park, follow this fun family around while we took pictures, and then play in the fountains afterwards! Thanks for the fun day you guys! Here is a little peek at some of your pictures!

Dashing Christmas duds

I took my kids with me on my friend's photo shoot so I could get some pictures of them in their new Christmas outfits. I put the finishing touches on them minutes before leaving the door and I love them. The kids and the clothes. I might have to try another photoshoot because Sawyer was a little cold and crabby, but I thought I would post this picture for your enjoyment!

Discovering downtown

I was excited when my good friend asked me to take pictures of her family, but after she scouted out and found some awesome locations downtown I was even more excited! I have been intimidated by the thought of packing up my kids in the car and just driving around and looking for some good spots...which is why I haven't done it. But I am so excited about these areas and I can't wait to go back again! And hopefully when I do go back, it isn't quite as cold as it was today...we're still recovering from our snow yesterday.
Thanks for braving the cold weather with me and showing me some of the awesome photo locations downtown has to offer!

handsome brothers

My whole family tagged along on this photoshoot and we had so much fun! Thet got to get out of the house and enjoy the overcast day feeding the funny-looking ducks at Hermann Park and talking with our friends! Afterwards we went to McDonalds together where I enjoyed my first hot chocolate of the season (It was a frigid 50 degrees outside!) Thanks for the fun night, you guys! Your family is seriously beautiful and I hope you enjoy your pictures!
