We had a fantastic Christmas this year and, for the first time in a few years, we weren't alone! We picked up Papa from the airport on the 23rd and had Grammie and Papa here to celebrate with us. Here are some of the highlights
Gingerbread houses
Papa is here! First time meeting Molly
Christmas Eve festivities
Nativity
Opening Christmas jambes
Matching Jammies!
Opening Grammie and Papa's presents....
Sawyer got a globe! Isn't that the coolest present ever? I know I always wanted a globe growing up. He has been learning about the sun and moon and earth and is always asking if we can see China and things so I knew he would love a globe.
(Once upon a time I saw a blogger post pictures of her kids on Christmas Eve by the light of their mini-trees in their room. From that point on my goal was to have bedside tables for my kid's beds so they could have mini trees on them just so I could take pictures of them on Christmas Eve...is that crazy? Seriously, that was like 3 years ago I saw it and I couldn't get it out of my head. But my kids having bunk beds now made that hard so their room looks like this....
Visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads.....
And then I took one of this sleeping beauty too, by the light of the bathroom light
Christmas morning! Waiting on the stairs
Santa came!
Santa brought Kate an iPod (that santa bought on ebay so its an older used one) and a speaker for it so she can jam out while cleaning her room or doing homework. He also brought her a jump rope
Sawyer got an alarm clock and a "hoolie hoop"
Clara got a Disney princess castle
And Molly got a stuffed monkey (all my kids have one of these stuffed jellycat animals)
I also made my kids hooded towels. Sawyer has a dog, Kate got a penguin and Clara, of course, got an elmo one!
Thank you Santa! We love you...even if you are terrifying...
