Ogunquit Beach trip

Daddy had a day off and we headed to the beach and it was my favorite beach trip of all time.  My big kids had so much fun playing and jumping in the waves and my babies were happy and content in the sand.  The day was perfect and beautiful, Ogunquit did not disappoint!

Molly fell asleep the instant we got in the car and we pulled her out of the car, carseat and all, when we ate dinner.  She did eventually wake up and eat something and then slept all the way home!

Kate's 9th Birthday

Kate had an art themed birthday party this year and this was my attempt at keeping it really low key and easy.  We did a nice rainbow theme to go along with the art.

I had the girls decorate the cake with candies on an art palette

I didn't take a picture of it after I cut into it so here is the proof that it was rainbow on the inside too...with a big mess and the playoffs in the background!

I think they loved the cake decorating

And the end result was adorable.  I sure love these friends of Kate's!

Simple snacks

And they painted covers for journals that we sent home with them

I can't believe this Kate girl is 9!  It feels like I was just throwing her a camping themed birthday party and celebrating her turning 8 and getting baptized.

Eater 2015

We had a fun and busy Easter/General Conference weekend.  We had an egg hunt with friends on Saturday afternoon in the mud and snow and then another one Sunday morning with our family in our yard.  It was our most freezing Easter ever!  But it is always fun to hunt eggs.  Then that afternoon we went to our friend's house for another egg hunt and a yummy dinner.  I didn't take enough pictures, I didn't even get any of them with their baskets!  I guess I must have been having too much fun.  Love these kids!
