Disneyworld memories

Every now and then I'll see Mickey Mouse on TV or see Sawyer wearing his Woody shirt and it reminds me of our wonderful trip to Disneyworld. It was such a fun trip, the kids were at perfect ages to enjoy the magic of everything, and Ryan and I enjoyed seeing them so excited about things. I finally have my computer unpacked to blog. There are enough pictures here to make you feel like you experienced it with us! We went to Disney 3 days.
The first day we spent it all at Magic Kingdom. But a giant thunderstorm rolled through about 5 and we had to cut the day short. We were enjoying our pineapple floats in Frontierland when it started to drizzle and before we knew it, the sky was dropping rain like a waterfall. We tried to wait it out a little under a little covered area but eventually we made a run for it. The streets of Disney were literally rivers and it was freezing. It was quite an adventure! But before the rain started we had enjoyed a full day of Sawyer's favorite, the Buzz Lightyear ride, the roller coaster in toon town several times in a row, and meeting lots of characters including my favorite, Repunzel.

Seeing Repunzel and Flynn Rider was pretty cool. They had the kids come in and color first and then they came out and danced with them a little before they got in line to meet them.

The second day was the kid's dress up day. Sawyer was so excited to be Prince Charming and ride the Prince Charming Carousel. For lunch we went to Epcot and had ate with the Princesses. It was in the Norway area and the food was...weird. But it was fun! We spent all day there and even watched the fireworks that night. It made for one fun filled and exhausting day!

The third day we were at animal kingdom. It was really fun...but my camera lens broke there. So not many pictures!

Friday was our last park day and we went to Universal. The kids loved the Seuss rides but really wanted to go on the Hulk (the ginormous roller coaster that goes upside down a million times...these kids are daredevils!!) Even though we aren't Harry Potter fanatics (we saw a lot of them there, scars, robes and all) we loved the Harry Potter area. We waited in our longest line (45 minutes) for the Hippogriff roller coaster that the kids could go on. And then we went on the real Harry Potter ride which was...sickening. But a big cup of Butter Beer made it all better! That was the best treat of the vacation!

So that was our trip in a million pictures. It was the best way to celebrate Daddy's graduation and I can't wait to go back again! The kids are still talking about it.
Special thanks to Aunt Jenny and Uncle Bill for hosting us while we were there, having dinner ready for us when we got home from the parks, and making my kids feel really special. They couldn't wait to come home and show them the autographs they got and tell them about their favorite rides. We love you guys!
